OREGON SPEECH PATHOLOGY ACADEMY

Welcome Letter

January 1, 2012

Dear Colleagues and Friends:

I am pleased to announce OSPA’s 2012 speaker line up!  We will be continuing our high quality, informative and functional presentations, as done in the past.  The Oregon Speech Pathology Academy (OSPA) is a volunteer-run organization designed to provide learning, networking and continuing education opportunities to speech-language pathologists working in public schools, medical settings, early intervention and private practice.  We have continued to make it a priority to balance our speakers accordingly.  Please refer to the backside of this letter for the 2012 schedule of speakers.

OSPA provides opportunities for new and returning members to meet, network and acquire up to 16-22 Continuing Educational Units (CEU’s) for 2012.  Annual dues are $60 (that’s less than $4 a CEU).  You are welcome to pay for individual presentations at $15 each.  All presentations and CEU’s are approved via the Oregon Board of Examiners for Speech Pathology and Audiology.  Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month from 6:30pm-8:30pm at our new location in the Wistar Morris Conference Center on the main floor of Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital: 1015 N.W. 22nd Avenue, 5 East, Portland 97210.

Sincerely,

Jennifer Clemens, MS CCC-SLP
